Beacon Roundhouse

Located right in the heart of Beacon is this gem of a venue that has everything you could need for your big day- stunning outdoor backdrops, an epic reception ballroom, and top-notch accommodations.

For summer & fall ceremonies, the Beacon Roundhouse has a classy hedge garden that can accommodate large outdoor ceremonies with views of their signature waterfall. For those who prefer an indoor ceremony, their main ballroom features floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the falls that also let in an abundance of natural light.

Melzingah is best known for three things: high-quality, locally sourced dishes, creative craft cocktails, and an award-winning beer selection. With a lineup like that, Melzingah is bound to impress you and your guests! In terms of vibes, the Tap House delivers on this as well. Both of their indoor and outdoor spaces deliver ‘gram-worthy backdrops if aesthetics is a top priority during your wedding weekend.

Be warned- this Beacon hot spot books out months in advance, so it’s highly recommended you make a reservation at Melzingah Tap House.

If you’re on the hunt for unique photo spots for your Beacon wedding, there is a variety of different spots to choose from depending on what you’re looking for! Most couples opt for at least one photo in the town itself for those old-school city vibes.

Beacon is full of centuries-old brick buildings and brownstones throughout the streets that always bring character to your backdrop. Believe it or not, the traffic and pedestrians also make for interesting photographs as well! Some local landmarks some couples like to incorporate are the decommissioned railroad tracks, the Dummy Light, and some of the local art that often adorns the buildings and parks nearby.

Long Dock Park

Another local landmark just a short trip down Main Street is Scenic Hudson’s Long Dock park located on the edge of Beacon directly on the Hudson River. If you have access to your limo during bridal party photos, or even your photographer’s car, the 5-minute drive to Long Dock park for photos is always worth it.

Also a popular site for Beacon, NY engagement shoots, Long Dock Park features waterfront views on the boardwalk, plenty of greenery, a beach, and tall fields of grass with views of Mt. Beacon looming in the distance.

Dogwood Beacon

A cult-classic for locals and tourists alike, Dogwood Beacon is right up the street from the Beacon Roundhouse, and is one of the few Beacon bars that frequently stays open past midnight. Dogwood often features live music, an impressive beer selection, and is within stumbling distance back to the Roundhouse hotel.

If you’re looking for a more unique after party, Happy Valley Arcade Bar further up main street in Beacon delivers! All of your favorite retro arcade games, specialty cocktails, and a good crowd all in one place. It’s recommended you contact them in advance to book your after party so they can accommodate your party.
